Hey Prestigeheads!
Danny here. We over at AP wanted to wish everyone a happy holiday season (which you can do this year for real because Hanukkah and Christmas overlap)!
It’s been quite a 2024—Israel’s destruction of Gaza continued apace; the war of attrition in Ukraine deepened; U.S.-China tensions ratcheted up; Bashar al-Assad fell; and Yoon Suk Yeol tried to self-coup.
Meanwhile, back here in God’s United States, the U.S. political system continued to show signs of rot, culminating in Trump’s return to the White House.
Looks like we’ll be in for a strange, if eventful, few years.
Throughout it all, it’s been a genuine pleasure to do this show and be able to communicate with so many like-minded people—it certainly makes me feel less nuts.
